Congratulations!
You’re one step closer to saying “I do”!
We’re so excited for the big day! You’ve been working on your wedding makeup for a while now, and you know you want to look perfect. So how do you prepare?
Trusting your bridal makeup artist is one of the most important things you can do before your wedding day. It’s not just about looking beautiful, it’s about making sure that everything goes smoothly and without any problems.
There are a few things you can do to help ensure that this happens:
- Ask questions! Your bridal makeup artist will be happy to answer any questions you have about how they work, but don’t be afraid to ask more questions if something doesn’t seem right. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is!
They’ll help you select products that are suitable for your skin type, and they’ll also be able to tell you what the best ways are for you to apply and remove your makeup.
They’ll also be able to help you with any other concerns or questions that may arise during your wedding day.
They should also be able to give you a sneak peek of what your wedding makeup will look like, so that you can get excited about the look and feel of it all.
Make sure they are familiar with your vision for the look you want. - Be respectful! You’re asking someone to spend hours on your face, so treat them with respect and kindness. They’ll do a great job for you if you show up with a positive attitude and make sure that you’re comfortable with everything before we start working together. You can ask them how long they have been working as a professional makeup artists for weddings (or any other event, really) and see what they say. You’ll likely be surprised by their answer: most professionals will tell you they spend anywhere from 10 to 15 hours doing the makeup of their clients’ weddings! It may not seem like much, but it definitely adds up over time—and it’s definitely worth investing in someone who cares about their work and making sure that the experience is memorable for everyone involved. You can ask them how long they have been working as a professional makeup artists for weddings, and if there have been any instances where their work didn’t meet up with their expectations.
- Schedule an appointment before hand! Schedule an appointment with your makeup artist at least a month in advance so that they have time to prepare for the event. This will help them save time by not having to waste time rushing around trying to get ready on such short notice; plus, it will give them an opportunity to practice on someone else before their big day arrives!
Relax and enjoy the process! Have patience! This isn’t going anywhere fast; we’ll get there in the end!
Finally, remember that whatever look you choose, it’s going to be beautiful! We love seeing our clients happy!
